Mohammad Ashraful makes a return to the Bangladesh squad

Mohammad Ashraful, the Bangladesh batsman, has been recalled for the unofficial Twenty20 tri-series against Zimbabwe and South Africa next month. The other major changes in the 15-man squad were the return of opener Junaid Siddique and a call-up for the uncapped fast bowling pair Ziaur Rahman and Abul Hasan.
Ashraful last played for Bangladesh in December 2011 in the home series against Pakistan and then represented Dhaka Gladiators in the Bangladesh Premier League, in which he was his team's third-highest run-getter with 258 runs at 28.66. He had been left out of the squad for the Asia Cup.
Left-handed opener Imrul Kayes, who was part of the Asia Cup squad but didn't play a game, has not been picked. Junaid, who played for Duronto Rajshahi in the BPL, was his team's third-highest run-maker, with 238 runs at 26.44 with a highest of 95.
Anamul Haque has been retained as an additional wicketkeeper. Seamer Farhad Reza, who's played 34 ODIs for Bangladesh, has also been picked.
The team will be led by Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah will be his deputy.
Bangladesh arrive in Harare on June 13 and take on Zimbabwe in the first game of the tournament on June 17.
Squad: Mushfiqur Rahim (capt), Mahmudullah (vice-capt), Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Anamul Haque, Mohammad Ashraful, Shakib Al Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Abdur Razzak, Elias Sunny, Mashrafe Mortaza, Farhad Reza, Nazmul Hossain, Ziaur Rahman, Abul Hasan
