Pakistan makes great return from controversies: Iqbal Qasim

Karachi,  Facing the biggest ever controversy in the history of the game last year during English tour   Pakistan has made a great comeback by humiliating England, which is the top Test team, feels former Test cricketer Iqbal Qasim.
It is a great comeback by Pakistan after the team has faced its worst ever controversy, which had happened during Pakistan s tour of England in 2010. Slowly and steadily Pakistan has rose from the nightmarish reminiscence of the spot-fixing scandal by first beating Zimbabwe then Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and now England, which shows that Pakistan has improved a lot,  said Iqbal Qasim, who had also served as the chief selector in the past.
Iqbal said that spin maestro Saeed Ajmal played instrumental role in the 10-wicket triumph by taking 10 wickets, however nearly every player contributed in the triumph.
Mohammad Hafeez, Taufeeq Umar, Umar Gul, Abdur Rehman and Adnan Akmal all played well. Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq took good decisions throughout the match and also batted well,  Iqbal told PPI.
However, Iqbal warned Pakistan that they should not become complacent after a great triumph and take England as menacing as before.
It was great triumph against England, however, I would warn them against complacency in remaining matches. England could not be taken lightly even after they had been beaten by 10 wickets. England would try their level best to make a strong comeback in the series,  he said.
