Pakistan beat England in first disabled T20 clash
DUBAI: Pakistan drew first blood in the historic ‘International Disabled Cricket Series’ against England when they won the opening Twenty20 match by 14 runs at the ICC Global Cricket Academy here on Saturday.

Shaun Rigby was England’s most successful bowler with two for 25, while Matthew Partington, James Williams and Frederick Bridges claimed a wicket apiece.
England were then bowled out for 106 in the 19th over. Gordon Laidlaw scored 31 off 23 balls with four fours. Callum Flynn and James Williams each made 20.
Slow left-armer Fayyaz Ahmed was Pakistan’s star with four wickets for 12 runs in four overs. Jahanzaib Tiwana proved excellent foil by grabbing three for 14. Altaf Ahmed and Abdullah Khan took one wicket each.
The second Twenty20 tie was scheduled to be played on Sunday. The teams later play in a series of three one-dayers with all games under light.
