Zimbabwe choose to bat in last game of tour
Zimbabwe captain Brendan Taylor won the toss and chose to bat in the second Twenty20 at Seddon Park in Hamilton - their last engagement on what has so far been a fruitless tour for his side. New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum said he would have chosen to bowl first, given the hosts' success at chasing on the Seddon Park pitch.
Forster Mutizwa made way for Stuart Matsikenyeri at the top of the order for Zimbabwe, as they retained their two spinners and three medium-pacers from the Auckland match. New Zealand were without their best batsman of the tour, with Martin Guptill rested to allow Andrew Ellis to come into the middle order. James Franklin will open the batting alongside Rob Nicol in Guptill's stead as Tim Southee also found a place, with Doug Bracewell moving to 12th man.
Showers are forecast for later on in the evening in Hamilton, but the dry surface seems to hold few demons for the batsmen.
